It's not you, it's you.

Unfortunately not as much art making going on the last couple weeks. But...Let's be honest, not being consistent with my projects is nothing new. In fact, it's been a sore spot all my life. If I'm not excited about a project, I lose interest and desperately seek something new to inspire me. Just ask all of my unfinished crochet and knitting projects. When it gets to the boring part, expect it to start collecting dust. So I asked my doctor about it. How can I stop procrastinating? He told me it's not an ADHD thing, it's a me thing (okay he didn't say it that way, but he said that's an everyone problem). "Use some sticky notes on your mirror. Set a timer on your phone."
Well, shit.
Guess who's digging up her old self-help books? I guess this time I will not feel so hopeless and lost when starting over...again.
First attempt this week:
10 min sketches/day
10 reading/day
15 walk/day
1% better everyday.
