everyone needs a poncho

Pattern: Labor of Love Poncho/Nursing Cover

I spent WAY too much time making this poncho for my best friend, who just became a new mother. I started it way back in July '25...plenty of time since the baby shower was in November! Ok definitely by the time the baby is born. DEFINITELY in time for Christmas. It's a New Year's gift, just like a planned.

I guess it's not ironic that the name of of the pattern is "Labor of Love poncho". I'm not a speed knitter by any means but wow did I struggle to get this one done. BUT here it is! And it's off to it's new owner. I took a picture of it with myself wearing it because I hate to tell you guys this, but NO ONE sends me pictures of any wearables I make them and it only bothers me a little bit. So I'm just going to do it myself before it goes to its new home.
