are you still talented?

I really don't know anymore.
I want to test a theory. I'm going to turn off social media for a week (or more...but let's be real). If I'm bored my hands will be directed to creative outlets vs. inputs. Or maybe I will sit on the couch and stare at my cat.
The rules: Delete all the social media apps. I'm allowing myself to watch specific youtube videos if they are instructional and pertinent to the topic I am focusing on, but I'm turning off mindless gossip and reaction videos as well as "background noise" videos. No TV (if I can help it). No reading...which sounds counterintuitive but it helps keep me from finding excuses to not be with my own thoughts. Daily crossword puzzle is allowed. Music and podcasts are allowed if I'm at work and need to drown out the noise.
Goals:
create more original art on a daily/weekly basis
create an Etsy store that actually makes sense for me and what I want to sell
post more products on Etsy and my personal store
I had a moment the other day and I'm worried my creative thoughts are atrophying from imposter syndrome and too much doom scrolling. I always tell myself "you can make money from your art if you just try harder!!" but I end up listless on the couch, caught in mindless scroll of fake cultural moments. Because none of this is real.
